Warning: This game contains scenes of explicit gore and violence and partial nudity.

An ancient artifact.
A powerful demon.
One man between stands between the world and the enemy...

...but will that be enough?

.synopsis
Ten thousand years ago, the world was plagued by the demon B'z'ngh. The oceans dried up, the air stagnated, and the earth became brittle and cracked. When all hope seemed lost, one warrior stepped forth from the darkness and, using the terrible power of the bazongas, managed to temporarily seal B'z'ngh in the demon world. Eventually, the world returned to normal, and the name of B'z'ngh faded from everyone's tongue...

...but that was ten thousand years ago.

Great game, man. I know you put a lot of work into this, especially over the last weekend as you rushed to get this thing released.

I just played through it again. I have a few comments, though. There might be some spoilers, so I'd suggest that if anybody hasn't played the game yet, they should at least start it before reading the rest of this post.

I really am not a fan of what you did with the character of Haaha. When she joins the party, she's a really useful addition, and I came to be very reliant on her in the "brute force" role. Where Guy served as my primary support character, Haaha did a lot of the main damage in the battles. Her twist towards the end of the game- while it did make for a great piece of narrative, seemed to unbalance the gameplay a bit. I don't know if this was intentional, but the strategies that I used for the final battle was completely different than what I had used for the rest of the game.

It just had a level of inconsistency, you know? Like all that time leveling up with Haaha, and in the end it was pointless.

I understand the necessity for the storyline, though. It's one of those things that makes me call to mind the debate of "story versus gameplay", and in RPGs like this, which should have more priority.

That said, the game is really remarkable in a lot of areas. It's definitely an amatuer game, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's lots of room for polish, but this is an amazing first release.

As always, great job. I look forward to more releases.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that.

I don't know if this was intentional, but the strategies that I used for the final battle was completely different than what I had used for the rest of the game.

It was intentional, actually, though if you found it irritating or off-putting I feel I may have done something wrong at one point unintentionally. I may release a patch at a later date that balances Haaha, though I can't make any promises at this time.

It really isn't the most polished game, but I'm pretty happy with what I managed in such a short timespan. Hopefully the next release will be more solid in the end - you can bet I'm already hard at work on it!

It's rare to see characters and a story with this much depth in an RMXP game. I'm looking forward to a sequel.

This is incredible.
I have to second the incredible story, and the graphics were just incredible eye-candy.
Despite the extremely detailed 3D models, I also experienced next to no lag.
You are commended on this project!

Amazing.

There is only one word for this type of quality.

The ambience in this thread really kicks it up a notch too.  POTM for sure.

b-bazongas... @_@

Hopefully in the sequel(if there is one(I hope there will be(please(I'll be your best friend))) Haaha's true motives will be more fleshed out. I know it in my heart of hearts that she's not a bad person. Oh, and I wrote some erotic fanfics detailing the escapades of haaha, and Bazona. If you would like to read them, please e-mail me at HaahaxBazona@lol.com! ^_^

I edited the first post to accommodate people still running DX9. Sorry for that, guys!

Yes, there will be a sequel. In fact, it's in pre-planning right now; I'm working closely with Uematsu-san on the music this time, so expect a bit of my touch as well. The sequel will indeed flesh out Haaha's motives, as well as Guy's backstory a bit more. I'm not sure if I can really set an estimated time of completion, but I am aiming for next weekend at the latest!

I'm speechless. It's been years since an RPG has given me such a deep catharsis. And I love the feeling!

I'd rather not ruin my current state of mind my over analyzing the game/plot in such a technical manner, so expect a thorough review sometime in the future. But all I have to say right now is kudos for making such a brilliant piece of work.

i agree, even if i try to professionally analyse this by any point of view, call it graphics, music, plot, everything is just fantastic, i have no words to describe the way this game made me feel
