Battle theme for VX game

Just something I have been messing around on in Finale '08.

Forgive me for the little pops you might hear, I apologize in advance for the somewhat awkward sound quality. Finale's audio RAPES my computer and until I get my laptop its gonna be kinda poppish.

I would love feedback, good or bad =D

I heard some good stuff in there, and at times the piano line is pretty catchy. As for criticism, I'd say that a notable amount of it sounds a bit chaotic; not really due to its speed, but that there were some strange chords that didn't seem fit now and there. Good start none the less, keep it up.  :smile:

Well, I think it sounded good. But as stated above, there were some chords that sounded weird and it felt like it lacked some background layers.

Well I love it!  All of it...I love those "off-chords" as some people are calling them.  IMO, it doesn't sound chaotic, it sounds like a very well written song.  Just my style I guess

I liked it, I feel the Chaos mixed through it compliments the fact that its representing battle, and battle is rarely ever cool and caculated when your in the thick of it.

I really liked it. Especially the beginning. It wasn't the best battle song I've ever heard, and I would consider changing the piano to a different instrument, but apart from that, great. Keep it up! (oh, and don't just take the piano thing from me. I mean I've composed but I'm not the best so y'know, don't take my words for it. It may sound a lot worse :P)

Not at all, you are right! I chose to write the whole thing in Piano cause I was bored...but yeah Im going to change it to some other tones and see what happens.
