Now I can criticise your music like crazy but I won't be harsh, 'cos you seem to be new at this kinda stuff.

Let me start with your battle 02 music:

The drums are too loud they should have been more quieter and they didn't really go with the music. I can tell you exactly how to fix it, but I think you should find that out for yourself, if you want to get better that is.

Now for your night scene:

I don't think you should have only made drums playing 'cos it gets really boring. Maybe you could have made the background music a bit more louder....That is if I was hearing a background music O_o

There I told you exactly why they weren't really good and what you should work on, but hey keep on trying. :thumb:

And one more thing don't record your audio it just doesn't sound right. Try buying a music editing program or something, it will make your quality of music much better because you can change the sound and stuff to suite your liking.

2nd)Alright. dont gimme an attitude about 2 posts on my own thread becuase your nerd juice just spilled on your shirt. Get over it.

3rd. I also decided im gonna wait till my Fantom X6 comes so i can add original keys to it, Also less of a chance of it sounding like cher meets a dishwasher.

I'm EXTREMELY disgusted with myself and the work i've been putting forth.
I am an embarrassment to music.
I promise no more music, no more garbage.
I will only post when it is perfect, because thats the only thing a company and my pride will accept.

Why the hell do you think professional actors artists and musicians work is evaluated by professional critics? Obviously it's not because everything they do is crap. Criticism is an invaluable tool for an artist's improvement. Learn your terms.then if you're gonna take that attitude then why are you even bothering in the first place. Don't post work if you're not prepared for even the harshest critics, because inevitably there's going to be one (frequently me). Suck it up and keep working, or go home and cry. But you'll never get anywhere if all you ever do is buckle under pressure. Stop crying and publicly pitying yourself its disgusting. If this is important to you, take the advice of others at face value not as personal attacks, and work to improve. Talent will only do so much it's the effort that takes the cake at the end of the day.

That's being harsh on yourself. How can you get better if you're calling your own work shit? If you're just starting out, don't expect people to caress your needs of positive criticism. Another note, obeying rules doesn't make you a nerd.

Actually, to tell you the truth, I used to suck at art 2 years ago. I decided to post a piece of artwork on .net (predecessor to this site). Every single post from that topic was negative criticism. You think you're getting it bad because someone tried to help you, hell, I was flamed. If it wasn't for that topic, and the ambition to improve greatly on what I had, I wouldn't be as nearly as good as I am now. And you being an embarrassment to music? AT least you can make music.

I personally do think you can get better if you work at it, and keep fixing the problem, and it will never become perfect trust me, but you can keep improving until it suits you, but in that more problems arise that you have to fix

If i write the song so it sounds perfect,

I WANT IT TO SOUND PERFECT.

i dont know how long you guys have been playing for but in my area im considered on of the best drummers, i gig and play about 30 weeks out of the year and for me, a professional (scoff..) musician It HAS TO BE PERFECT.

(and i acutally didnt really realize the recordings sounded funny, when i played them back to mix them they where loud enough. maybe i had my stereo louder or some shit)

Look, resource analysis is about analyzing resources. If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen, but for goodness sake no one's perfect so don't get down on yourself about perfection. If you're not as good as you'd like, you take the crits and make yourself better.

Yeah she's right don't quit now keep doing what your doing until your perfect on how to manage the sounds

Once you know how to play around with the sounds you can make a recording sound like it wasn't recorded at all, all you need to do is fin the right program for yourself then get your head down and learn everything like the back of your hand.

And Hydraulic, your attitude regarding critiques seems rather immature to the extreme - no offense. D: Take it with some salt, or you won't get anywhere. That's great that you're the best in something else, but you can't rely on movie stars for political advice.

Hydra, the real issue here is not that you've failed, the reason everyones so up at arms about it is because your response to our analysis has been anything but productive. Instead of taking suggestions you ball up in self pity. It's extremely frustrating to watch that kind of self destructive behavior. refer to earlier posts for more suggestions and motivational speeches i dont feel like putting down a huge paragraph. Just know that if u do this again with anything else you submit.. this melodramatic sadness fest, people will ignore you.
