Now for some things relevant to the RPG part of this site. I'm rather good at writing and spriting, although having lost Photoshop, my spriting is limited to MS Paint. Which is fine for smaller projects, but anything beyond 600x600 gets tedious fast. I've got a fairly decent grasp of scripts, although the furthest I've gone on my own with them is a battle system similar to an old PlayStation one game.

Now for the fun bit ;D I'm an anime whore, I spend a lot of time reading and I've been told I'm naive by many people but I don't see how or why : /. I spend whatever is left of my time drawing or sleeping, both of which I do very well :D. I've got a puppy that the sun rises and sets on, she's three years old and about the size of a fat house cat.

That's pretty much all I can think of for useless introduction info..so here's something for you to think about! Run to the translators if you wish, but they only serve to butcher languages :P

Also, I've found that Paint.net is the best free alternative to Photoshop for spriting. You might want to give it a look! :wink:

My point being that unless I am a complete retard and I'm incapable of properly using the software, or perhaps even have an outdated one, there is no large scale editing tool, which makes me sad, and annoyed, when dealing with larger projects. I also have no problems paying for Photoshop, but I'm still technically moving in, and I really don't feel like taking an hour long drive to pick up one thing.

Actually it was the implied meaning of the topic title, and the subsequent comment 'anime whore', that lead me to think 'female'.

I was merely making a humorous comment with regard to your jest of 'Anime whore' and 'GGW', such innuendo leads me to believe you're slightly perverse in nature; thus, the comment about Fujoshi art.

I wouldn't read such comics were my life dependent upon it. ;]

Photoshop is not very good for spriting. MS Paint is functional, and in a lot of cases it's all you need, but it's pretty basic and there are a couple things other programs do better. personally, I'd suggest GraphicsGale. it has all you really need for spriting (set colour palette, quick way to switch between colours, zoom, and you can divide the canvas into spaces of whatever size you need if, say, you're making charsets and wanna make sure the orientation is right.)

I pay more than that for my disposable entertainment (iTunes, Numb3rs).
