The inauguration was HUGE. Dulles National Airport was packed, the subways were filled with thousands of people, and the highways were filled with traffic and my girlfriend actually seen a lot of SS agents on her way back from Virginia. Nothing like this has ever been seen before, and this is really a historic moment, like it or not.

So, how do you feel about this, especially with respect to how you felt during the election days?

I watched the inauguration on NBC, and yes, it seemed very condensed. But it's the first time I watch a Presidential Inauguration so I can't really tell.

Didnt 50c vote on McCain because he didn't want Obama to be assasinated? Oh well, I think it's a good president for that country on the other side of the Atlantic .

I watched the inauguration on NBC, and yes, it seemed very condensed. But it's the first time I watch a Presidential Inauguration so I can't really tell.

Well William Henry Harrison gave a two hour Inauguration speech on a cold and rainy March day and then joined a parade without a coat or hat. This turned out to be a great idea since he caught pneumonia and died a few weeks later. But yeah they are usually quick and dirty affairs that are usually only the subject of CSPAN. But its the first colored president, and against the history of civil rights and slavery that's a big deal for this country. And even people who didn't vote for him, such as my self, can see that.

Also guys can we up the intelligence on the postings in this topic?
