avi or mpeg script

i need an avi or mpeg script thats easy to use and works. i'm making cg cutsceans for a game i'm making and i really need one, or could i at least get a script that can play images like movies from image file named 1,2,3,ect from one file location.

yeah in a separate window, its dosn't even close out it self. could i at least get a script that can close out that extra window.
