[Ask] How to debug (to know value of variable)

I'm using RGSS2.

How to make something like msgbox (VB) or just anything to show the value of a variable?

You can enter the debug screen if you press F9. There you can see all variable and switch values and edit them if you like.

If you are referring to objects within code and not $game_variables and $game_switches(those are the ones shown when you hit F9), you want to use "print" or "p".

a = 5
p a

That will display the to_s(to string) representation of the object being printed in a message box.
