Area BGM music continues to play during battles

Is there a way to do this by chance without relying on rather (to me anyway) very confusing scripts such as Mimi's Battle Music script? I am truly lost as to how to configure it.

EDIT: Scratch that, I figured how to work this. Those silly events!
