Arby's take's Wendy's

So yeah, this is big (mostly because I absolutely hate Wendy's for undisclosed reasons). I'm not really a fan of Arby's, actually I have never once eaten there, but this can only be a good thing (big companies merging/buying eachother is always a good thing).

Man there's not much to say other than Holy shit Arby's is buying out Wendy's but damn.

I just hope they don't lose the frosties. I mean as much as I hate Wendy's, their frosties are amazing.

Never did like Wendy's frosties actually. Never did like Wendy's much at all, for that matter. I like Arby's only for their curly fries and occasional 'limited time' items they sell.

Either way though, this feels a little like its the little guy buying out the big guy. Wendy's is a giant, fifth to Burger King, seventh to McDonalds. The fact that its being bought out for by an even smaller company such as Arby's is a little upsetting.

Without Tim Horton's, our country would fall to ruin.
But I love both Arby's and Wendy's.

I really like Arby's but in my area they are rare (only one I know of is about a 20 minute drive or an hour bus ride.)

But there is nothing better than a blend of their barbeque and horse radish sauce and their curly fries. So hopefully we'll be seeing more Arby's opening up around here. (And by opening, I mean replacing Wendy's)

I really don't like Wendy's. Their "Fresh, never frozen" beef patties taste almost identical to McDonalds, but with infinitely less flavor. They almost taste like nothing. Also the texture of the meat is all wrong. Like chip-board or something. Although I do have love for the Baconator and the Baconator Jalapeno.

They'll keep almost everything the exact same right?  You know this?

Just like when diner chains buy out diner chains, and other fast food companies get bought out - maybe the most prime selections get closed and replaced with the dives of the buyer, but ultimately Wendy's will still be Wendy's.
I almost guarantee nothing will change within 3 years.

I mean do you know how many places McDonalds has bought out, that aren't McDonalds and still sell their own food right?  I mean Shopright owns Stop and Shop - and yet they're completely different.

And god this topic title makes me want to slay you with an eraser.

man, hopefully we'll get an arby's locally now, since we have like 3 wendy's....5 roast beef sandwiches for 6 bucks, come on you cant beat that.
