Haha, I never got into the piano. Pity, because it could have been good for musical theory from an early age. Sadly, shitty inner city state schools do that to you.
I did play trombone for about 6 months, but this was the same school, so they cut the funding.
Since December 2004 I have been a player of the guitar (zing), although I personally feel I only really began to play properly when I got my second acoustic early 2006, but a year and a bit of theory and basic practice has meant I am pretty good at it. I made the inevitable electric purchase September 06, opting for a more Jazz style guitar, but have stuck to acoustic. Given I sing and do a lot of funky shit when playing, like turning round and around whilst playing spirally riffs, I generally stick to Rhythm and short solos when playing.
On top of this, my brother began playing the Bass mid 2005, so I have a pretty good handling of that, though common criticism is I'm "too nice" whilst playing as I just feel odd putting such force on strings in comparison to my usual acoustic.
And on top of this, I've been playing the harmonica casually (ie, once a month or so) for the past year and it's pretty easy. Which is pretty nice for Dylan songs :D.
