Any skateboarders?

It depends on what you mean by newbie, as in you cannot do a trick at all or if you can only ollie, nevertheless ill just give you tips because I'm a skater too.. And I'm goofy, and I dont get made fun of.
When doing an ollie, it's not all about how your feet are angled, your body must be straight with the board( your shoulders should be straight aligned with your feet, not curving, just like your looking in front of you.) And your foot angles is easy enough once you get them down. For the ollie you must be quick, but make it clean. All in one motion, you have to push down, tapping the tail of the board onto the ground, and then you must slide the side of your foot up onto the board, release the foot on the tail, and align back with the board.
Hopefully this helps at all..

I dont wear protective gear.. and you can still nollie off a kicker, just remember your footing, and believe in yourself Cheeze! You just gotta practice and make sure you land a nollie almost perfect off of a curb, then try a kicker..

rexxz says to INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT?! AND THEN U WILL BE GOOD LIKE TONY HAWK, I'd take his advice if I were you.

What rexxz says is not always on the level of the forum populace. - Andy

Awesome Bro

I skated when I was 15 because everyone else seemed to. Plus I was a metrosexual back then.

My tip ... If you can ollie you're automatically a pro. So learn to do that, release a game and watch the money flow in.

I skate board...could of got sponsored tbh but i kept stopping because of weather and other matters....for a newbie i would recommend skating in intervals....skate one day miss another....if you do this your body maintains a certain fitness that allows you to recover after you skate because skating wears cartilage around your ankles.

Now for the trick side of it all, basically just stick to a trick don't give up on it, just try and try and try until you get it because if you give up you'll only come back to it...and giving up on a trick shows weakness....so just keep trying! Also work on Ollies, 180's, Pop Shove Its, Heelflips and Kickflips....because these are the foundations of skating.
