Any script to fix midi problems?

A little hard to explain... but midi music sounds different on RMXP than it actually is. Although, some of them sound pretty close, others (one that I really want to sound great for this one scene) ones sound horrible when put in RMXP. Is there a way to fix that with a script? Any help is grateful.

This is not a bug. RMXP uses the same standard MIDI synth found on all Windows machines. This synth is of course hidden in the DirectX Audio libraries.

And.... what is 'actual' midi sound? It depends on your midi device.(I don't think some midi files for SC-88 or any midi device(other than GM) would play 'correctly' in RMXP)
