Um, Hi all, Shuriken-Style here (or just Shu if you're feeling friendly.) Just a quick message to let you guys know there's another newbie who can't script, sprite or map but who still has the audacity to try anyways. Hello.

I, too, was a talentless newbie... but over time I've become a pretty good pixel artist (In my opinion) a little bit of a scripter, and can make some pretty amazing things with events, not to mention that due to my overactive imagination I can create all kinds of stories, so I'm not bad at writing too, lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I was expecting a load of views but no replies. :P
I do intend to learn a lot while I'm here, I was pretty good using the old RPGM's but never got anything out. Lets hope I at least get a demo out here, eh?

Oh yeah definitely, but don't worry if you don't, I've been here for 4 years, I've been using RPG Makers for longer, but I've never released an actual game... I don't even think I've released a demo either, just a few evented tutorials and stuff, infact, the only full game I've released was made using Game Maker, but I can't make any updates to it ever again since it's on my dead PC... but maybe I can salvage the HDD and retrieve some data, lol...

If you want to learn anything we definitely have the right forums for them, you should definitely find some help with things such as scripting, spriting and mapping, I learned most of what I know from here, lol.

Lol beautiful flowers eh? Something tells me I'm more likely to just turn into a weed or something...

I remember I actually finished a demo for some samurai game on RM2000 but I never got it out because I wasn't even running 56k back then (a friend came over with RM2000 on a CD and told me to try it lol) Fingers crossed I'll get SOMETHING out, there's no excuses now.

Might just start with the mapping workshop and work my way up from there. Thanks Bacon!
