Another HK attempt

Well, I'm still trying to master the art of Spriting-fu (like kung-fu lol) Well seriously. My shading needs improvement I hear. But heres another attempt with a kid in a swim suit.

Sprite-Fu sounds way better, and ya your getting it just tone down the pillowshading.

What is that supposed to be... a swimsuit?
It doesn't look like it.
Take a look at some reference pictures - material creases and folds on the body. As is, you've got big clean expanses of one color, which gives a plastic-y texture.
And, again, material casts a shadow. Shade the parts of the arms and legs that touch the swimsuit accordingly.

The swimming suit needs a lot of work but i love your dog! it looks like my old "spike"
