I'm a HUGE fan of Dan Brown, better known as "The Dude Who Wrote the Da Vinci Code". Despite what's said, Angels and Demons is NOT a sequel to the Da Vinci Code. Angels and Demons came first, and has nothing to do with The Da Vinci Code except for the main character, Robert Langdon.
Before I say anything, if you've read the book, prepare to be hugely disappointed. I know what your thinking by now, "The Book is NEVER as good as the movie!! It HAS to leave out some parts for it to fit!!!". Well, I understand that, but when it COMPLETELY fucks up the plot of the book, then that's the final cutback.
In the book, a scientific organization called CERN calls Robert Langdon in to investigate a scientist that was murdered because he has the word ILLUMINATE branded in his chest. In the movie, the Vatican comes in, and asks him.
This is the part that made me completely SICK. In the book, there was a scene where Robert jumps out of a helicopter, without a parachute. They completely cut this scene out of the movie, and it pissed me off because I was SOO excited to see it in the movie.
In the end, I give Angels and Demons a 6/10. It wasn't necessarily bad, just really, really disappointing.

Closer to the end, the Camerlengo is branded with a brand that says FIRE WATER EARTH AIR.It sets it up to look like the director of CERN did it.The director of CERN is killed, and just as he dies he gives Robert a video. In the movie, it's two upside-down keys. It makes it look like the chief of police did it, and he hands Robert a key.
