Essentially what I'm after is a Skill that initially deals a large amount of damage to one enemy or ally (think of them as being at the center of the blast) and then deals a fraction or percentage of that damage to all other enemies/allies (Hit by the fringe of the blast)
Another thing that would be very useful in my opinion (and I don't know if this is really performable) would be an Area of Effect for battle, similar to how allot of MMORPG's do them now a days, where by an enemy is targeted and anything within a certain radius is struck too. I imagine this is either very difficult or impossible, but i still thought I'd ask about it.
