Among the RPG border

I've been working to slightly improve my skills among orchestral instruments,
having a friend's story as refrence to compose from. They might not sound too RPG'ish, but they're sure to fit ..hrmm somewhere. ^_^


EmeraldGrove (Kind of this, magical, pure naturey place theme. I loved playing with the glass chimes.)

Slowly Crossing Borders (A sort of, traveling, setting-off-on-a-journey theme. I like how the strings flow with the flute and the piece, but somehow I think it lacks excitement,
like "OMG We're going on an adventure!!! W00t!)

Halfling reunion(A busy busy, crafty-type theme, I had my thoughts on FF9 for some reason at that point.)

Been a while since I say ya here, anyhow

My pretty much only real complaint is that in the first song, 2 instruments clash to my hearing. It might work "in-game" but for the sole listening it kinda bothered me.

Furthermore it's good to hear more of ya, your work is good as usual =)

EmeraldGrove is very nice. I enjoy your music here.
I agree with what you say about SlowlyCrossingBorders, it's missing that little something to really make it sound like what it should. If you find it, I think it'd be a great field type journey music. I also really like Windelhn, the piano music. Very well done.

I was really impressed by all of these ^_^
If I was going to add anything to the Slowly Crossing one, it might be a really rhythmic cello to really carry the piece along or add some lower melody. A second flute might do it, too. Well, I'm sure you know better than me anyway :D

I'm glad you like, Candle. ^_^ Well, I always had something with Slowly Crossing Borders, and sometimes I can just be too lazy to be a perfectionist. :p
