Do they have to be videogame songs?

Bjorn Lynne's stuff is good, and it's free midi downloads. Likewise, there's a ton of free classical music available for download.

Or just google for "Free videogame music downloads."

and about importing, depends on the song extension. if it's .mid , like most of videogame songs, just place it into BGM folders inside your RMXP project.

You can also go to the Materialbase (F10) and hit import. RMXP can also handle MP3, wav, and ogg files, but midis are by far the smallest, and that's a good thing.

oh, yea, I was on that site before i made this thread, but it said I didn't have "official rights" to place the music on my computer...gah, i forgot how to make that not happen. I've done it before. Can you tell me?

oh, yea, I was on that site before i made this thread, but it said I didn't have "official rights" to place the music on my computer...gah, i forgot how to make that not happen. I've done it before. Can you tell me?

Right click the link to the midi files and click "save target as...", and you should be able to save the midi files to your computer.
