Prologue- Akako high is a series of short stories/mini comics I'll be writing soon. It's a mix of two medias, it's a spin off of a comic I made that is now in hiatus known as Spirit Armz, and takes scenario's and characters from the excellent Rp Clash Of Cliques. Akako high is an shoujo/comedy series with very dark elements(Rape, drugs, self abuse, neglect, abuse, murder, and death for example) mixed with very light hearted humor(A guys afraid of a freaking cat XD). The story revolves around 15 year old girl Sakura Takeda who is left friendless when her only two friends, Hideaki Seshi, and Daitaro Akako, transfer to a boarding school fonded by their family. Sakura is a poor girl who works to support not only herself but her out of work father. She can't afford to go to the school on her own so decides to visit it regularly. Once there she makes plenty of new friends, and discovers that her two friends, Hideaki and Daitaro, are from a cursed family. The curse prevents anyone of the family from being able to express love the right way, and creates a flaw in the individuals personality, this flaw keeps them from receiving or showing love. The only way to break the individuals curse is if they are loved back by the person they love. Sakura isn't very smart, she's sweet though, as sweet as they come. It probably comes from the ice cream she's around all day, seeing as that is where she works and is the schools hangout. Sakura has a secret talent that not many people know about, the ability to sing. She didn't think about pursuing it as a dream until she meets Daisuke Akako. He is the lead singer of an all boy band called Fangz, and offers the girl a spot in the band. Daisuke is a member of the cursed family,but he insist that his curse is broken, so he couldn't possibly fall in love with Sakura...could he? There are many skeleton filled closets in the house of Akako, and Sakura with the help of the many female at the school will help the Akako family forget about their dark past and move on to a brighter future.

Well that's about all I can say without spoiling to much of the story ;D Well I guess I can proceed with showing off pics. I'll categorize them to make it easier to find the pictures that you might be interested in viewing.^^

Why does the comic read from right to left? Or are you actually Japanese? O_o

Anyway, to criticize, I think you need to work a little bit.

The hands looks very... pointy, and it doesn't look like you spent a good enough time drawing them, or much other features. The style is kind of nice, though in a way looks like something a 10-year old kid would do. There are also some drawings were the arms look curvy. The arm does not curve like a circle, it bends at various angles. There could be some improvement.

X3 No I'm not Japanese, I'm just use to doing it with my manga and stuff.

Yeah, I need help with hands lol. The style, since it's a shoujo, is aimed at being more cutesy then anything. So that, I understand can be a turn off for some people. But thankyou nonetheless for you critique and I will take it to heart in the near future.

tbh, your drawing is next to terrible. Angles are your friend, use them. There's no feeling to the panels, it's just front angle, after fornt angle, after front angle. the simplistic shading technique would be forgivable if it was used the right way, but it kind of just looks like it's just inexperience as opposed to some kind of style that was developed. The whole japanese highschool thing is super-played-out, too.

in short, i hope you're only doing this for personal amusement, because if you're serious about it, it's a terrible idea.

XP Sorry the preview comic isn't done with any spirit, it was done in one period of class to show my friends after school one day.

The story is, like most anime, "played out". But then that's where you go in and build up on the cliche and make it something of your own.^^ But all I can say is thankyou for your opinion and it will be taken to heart in the near future.

Anime should never be a starting point. Love it all you want but master real drawing first. Then go back to your love. You'll be glad you did.
