As you could see I'm obviously against rape and similar destructive behaviors that may affect the victims in a serious manner or even kill them. That's not the only reason why I posted this. Actually I would like to talk about therapy.
Normally people would accept that victims and their relatives should be treated in a medical institution. But what about the rapists? Why are they normally in prison but don't receive a real and effective medical treatment too? I mean, not just a drug that should lower their high level of testosterone. What would you think he may be able to do if he could stop using the drug for any reason or motive? I think that a psychological or psychiatrist approach would be a perfect complement to this drug therapy, but this is not a common practice as far as I know. I say this may be something better than the normal one just because there is a slight possibility that a rapist may not be able to commit the crime once and again. Of course, police should still be warn if such a person is living in their area.
You're free to say if you agree with me or not.
