Adjusting brightness levels

Is there a way to darken or brighten the map with a script? Tone and brightness levels are 2 individual aspects.

High tone:

You can use a screen tone. It's not 100%, but can sorta work.

$game_screen.start_tone_change(red, green, blue, gray)

Red, green and blue can be any value from -255 to 255. Gray can be anywhere from 0 to 255


Just mess with the values until you find something you like.

I'm getting a syntax error. I think its because the call script doesnt fit into 1 line.

edit: I found a script called Screen Color Module that works like a charm.
well, actually, its essentially no different than just using change screen tone. if you find something to adjust brightness you should PM me sometime, seph.
