Action Key

Right I need to know if you can change the action key that you use to interact with events and if you can temporarily change the atribute of the player to an event.


This all may seem like useless stuff, but I really need it for m next script :D :D

Ok I was also wondering whether you can split up what Input C is. So Enter and Space are different buttons?

I don't understand what you're trying to get the action button to do in your first question, but for your second question, the answer would be no, unless you use a keyboard script like the SDK one or Cybersam's.

look in Game_Player on line 271

if Input.trigger?(Input::C)

that's the key for activating events,
so change it to whatever you like

First it's better that you Use the input script by Cybersam,The other question I don't know I tried making a new script myself(A simple one lol).

@Verbally, just go to Game_Player an whenit says,

 Inpu.dir4 #can be Input.dir8

Erase the when after that
Carefull because the player wont move!

yeah it's quite easy

VR.in_range?($game_player, $game_map.events[event_id], range)
range is the distance

I think so, but you need to make the Interpreter read the id of the event and store it in a var....
