Action Button trigger Script

I'm using RMVX and was wondering if someone could make me a script or show me what I need to edit to accomplish this. I want it so that when I use 'Action Button' for an event trigger instead of me facing the event and hitting 'enter' to activate it I have to be directly on top of it then hit 'enter' to activate it. I'm currently working on a Tower Defense game and the players icon is pretty much just a box. I'm not using any custom scripts at all everything is being done through events but this is something I can't do with events. Any help would be appreciated.

Create an event with
priority: below characters
and
trigger: action button

should work, just tested it
