This may seem complicated, but I'll try and explain it as best I can.
Pretty much what I'm looking for is a battle system along the lines of the the one used in Legaia, or perhaps Symphonia. When the player selects the attack command, there are four different methods of attacking. Pressing "up" will slash up, pressing "down" will slash down, etc. To begin, three attacks would be able to be used. Different combinations of buttons would use separate attacks. "Left, Right, Down" would just use those basic attacks, while something like "Up Down Up" would use a special attack. Do you think this is possible? With multiple characters, or just one?
Also, I know this isn't a request for a real ABS, but I wasn't sure what else to call it.
