A work in progress beat/something

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/8/13/ ... fullEQ.mp3

made in FL studio. hiphop, trance, and full-on influences. also maaaajorly influenced by the sound of tatu's music. (started out ass a remix of 'not gonna get us' i was working on. strayed from there.)

theres so much shit going on that my 250mb ram, 850mhz piece-of-shit can't even run the project file anymore. i had to render it as an mp3 just to hear it with the guitar on the end. the guitar needs to be turned down abit probably.

at the moment it's just a intro/chorus, verse, then chorus. i'm contemplating how to go about from here, but i'd just like some helpful criticism.

Since this is still WIP, some of my comments may already been taken care of in the planned finished version; so ignore those that are. c:

It's quite upbeat and the effects aided the theme a lot, as well as the choice of synths/instruments. My main criticisms are:
1. During the more crowded sequences, it feels as if some of the channels are playing unfit notes, causing a "two-songs-playing-at-the-same-time" effect that is a little clustered.
2. In the beginning, the song "begins" too suddenly, almost as if the DJ put on the background effects and after 10 seconds went "oh sh- I forgot to turn on the music; let me do that now." -- BAM. A more gradual entrance should make things more natural, but you may be intentionally going for this effect.

Overall it surely has great potential, and I love the drum/percussion usage in it. The overall rhythm is well constructed too. Keep it up!
