I think it's cute but you should clean up the lines a little more. It'd make it look a bit more polished. =)

Yeah the lines do look a bit rugged, i'll clean them up when i find some time.

If I am correct you used the burn tool for your sading. If so, you might want to patch it up, it looks rather unsmooth.

The light looks odd on a hand-drawn sprite. Still pretty damn good though.

Wow, thats really nice for hand drawn! Heres some suggestions I have:

Make him kind of "hunched" like the other member said, and also have his hood over his head so only his yellow eyes show. These are supposed to be "scary" night dwellers.

Also, Id add shadowing and clean the lines up a bit.

The hand with the lamp is weird. If you keep the sleave strait all the way until his wrist and bend his hand at the point where the sleave ends it'll look better.
I think he's hunched enough, it's just that the neck is too long, so put the head lower down and then it'll be fine.
