A tileset for towns

I began working a new tileset of a town. Started as a edit but I am ending up redrawing the entire set. I don't have to much done but if I can get some comments on it so far that would be good. And maybe some idea on what to add and decorate the house with. Or should I leave it plain.

Thats one of the problems. I'm not really sure where and what to shade for what I have done.

I would suggest looking at the buildings in the Desert Town Exterior. There's a particular style of shading used on the bottom of the buildings that add depth to it. Or you can just add a wood or stone texture.

Otherwise it's pretty good so far. The chimney has a cool design. The roof itself could use some more shades to it, though. Good color choices.

Thank you Euphony. I took some of your advice and posted the new version of the set. I really like it but that only because I made it probably. Any more suggestions or comments?

You should remove the fog in an example screenshot so we can see the tileset properly.
