A standard side view battle system

DBS isn't a side view system though, I probably didn't phrase this very well, it's late and I have slept very little in the past few days, I'll try again, I'm looking for a standard turn based side view battle system which uses animated battlers like the ones I linked to and has no glitches or major issues.

DBS = Default battle system. That means the standard battle system, adding the side view battlers script means you aren't using the DBS anymore, what you posted said the systems work together but they are different systems.

You have to understand that Minkoff's script IS NOT A BATTLE SYSTEM, I would say it's a mod for YOUR battle system.

This script adapts front-view battle systems (like the default battle system, or the RTAB system), and turns it into a side-view battle system.

If you don't wanna to install a new script in your game you'll never get a sideview battle system, unless you back to RM2K3.

Actually, you can make a battle system with events(like RM2k users does), but unless you're very good at handling events, no one would suggest this.(as what I remember, one of RMXP sample game, 'White Ties', made its own side-view battle with bunch of events)

As Prexus said, White Ties used a lot of Call Scripts but a majority of it was events. Look at Quintessence TBV, it uses events only.
