A quick question about mapping.

This Problem shouldn't be too difficult to solve for a lot of your, seeing as your all skilled and all.

I just noticed that my character is walking through walls and cliffs, i think i know why, i just need confirmation before i got and change it all; Do all cliffs and walls have to be on layer 3? because my map is walls are on layer 2, but they're doing this:

Just go to the database and check the tilesets.

Everything else should be self explanatory

have already tried that.

This most often occurs when you use a blank tile in the tileset to erase something on a higher layer.
The "Eraser" tile is the upper-left-most tile ONLY.
Select the eraser tile, and re-erase every empty tile on layers 2 & 3
