Welcome to HBGames, a leading amateur game development forum and Discord server. All are welcome, and amongst our ranks you will find experts in their field from all aspects of video game design and development.

A Mixture of Returning and Just Arriving.

Well, the (Screen)name's Kalseng, and I joined this forum a while ago, mostly through the use of the IRC channel because I'm a terrible addict that needs to break his habit oh god I need my fix right now.

Anyway, I haven't really visited this site in like forever, and I feel like I barely got to talk to anyone at all.

Troo fax.

So some of you don't know me at all, and some of you just barely know me. So for some of you, I'm going to vageuly recognizable, and for others I'm going to be a brand new face.

Anyway, I'm an avid writer, I sprite in concentrated bursts spanning a few weeks, and I can make a half-decent Forum Signature if I sit down and actually pump out work on it.

And because I feel like this somehow shows people what kind of a person I am on sites such as this, my favorite RPGs of all time have got to be the Suikoden Series. They're really interesting games, and they contain over one hundred recruitable (Firefox claims that isn't a word, in case you were wondering.) characters.

I hope to get along well here, and I'll be extremely happy to meet a whole new slew of people.

I definitely remember your name, but not much more than that. welcome back, though! spriting and writing are cool things to do and I'm sure a lot of people here would agree.

Hey dude, welcome to the forums ;D

Glad to know someone else is a suikoden fan ;o although tbh only 1+2 were great, 3 was okay but 4 and 5 sucked badly, it just lost the suikoden feel after 2 for me ;[

what i loved 3 :(

why does everyone think that game is just average, i thought it was amazing

also welcome dood im moog :3

(4 was horrid though)

...

You people hurt my soul so much </3

My favorite was easily Suikoden 2, but Suikoden 3 deserves some love. Also Suikoden 4 was a great game if you were willing to pardon the fact that the average step count between battles was almost 2. And if you were willing to forgive the fact that the boats would've moved faster if propelled by six nuns sitting on the bow of the boat and praying to god for the ship to move forward by the power of their faith alone. It was a good game if not for some minor gameplay issues.

Also I missed having 6 people in my party at a time.

Anyway, I'm glad to see lots of hellos and welcomes to the forums.

And if you're looking at my posting times and wondering what the hell my timezone is, it's definitely Eastern American, but I'm a lazy slag and don't end up on HBGames until super late at night.
