Yes, a false introduction, because I made my real introduction in my debut post, here. Quoted below:
Because I'm cheap and too lazy to think of my own introduction, I'll answer the questions provided conveniently in the stickied post.
* What is your history with RPG Maker and the RPG Maker Community?
Minimal. Very minimal. I've played about a dozen RPG maker games (played, not completed), and I've downloaded the trial just to see what kind of features the program offers. As for the community, I was just a lurker and downloaded any games that struck my interest.
* What is your field of expertise in RPG Maker?
I've got some background in graphic design, so I guess I could do interfaces, layouts, etc. Mapping is pretty fun, too, but I've never gotten a critique on that so I don't know how up-to-par it is.
* How did you find the forums?
google FTW
* What you hope to get out of the forum?
Ideas and Experience. I hope to make my own game one day. But I don't know how to script. Chronic dilemma, if it wasn't for this site.
* What kind of creative talents do you have (outside of RPG Maker)?
Well, graphic design. I also have a little history in (music) composition.
* What are your hobbies or interests?
umm... lots. Like playing games, and watching japanese visual media (i.e. anime). Too lazy to list them all. If Laziness was a hobby, I'd put that here too.
* What kind of music do you listen to?
Western Pop from the 1990s, modern chinese pop, video game soundtracks, anime soundtracks.
* What level of education are you in? What are you studying in college?
University student, studying architecture. Though I'm taking a term off and I want to know what some other fields are like as well.
Whew. My wrist is all warm from this typing. See you guys in the other parts of the forum!

My experience with RPG games is o-kay: I've played a lot of FF, Pokemon, Zelda, and other various ones whose names i forgot. However, I'm a lackey in the game-creation department. I've fiddled with RMXP and RMVX and made tidbits of game just to get a feel for what it does, but I'm definitely going to teach myself (or via the RMXP/VX Academy) some RGSS before attempting to make a full game. Oops. This paragraph will be paraphrased in a post in the Introductions section.
