This is primarily repositioning stuff from the default battle system. Don't let the images throw you off, I don't need a fully-animated side-view battle system. I'm using static battlers. The animation will be on my end with battle animations.
I need two major things:
Repositioning of the status bar, menu boxes and battlers to look like the images (and look good for a three-member max party)
Use of two battle backdrops- one above the scene (above the battlers, but the text and menus still go over it) and one below
I can edit the bottom backdrop in the database or whatever, of course. I'd like to be able to choose the top one with a call script or whatever and input the name of the new top backdrop I want to use.
If possible, the gradient bars are a nice touch (the red is HP, the yellow is MP). Also if possible, automatically putting shadows under the characters and enemies and changing the color of the shadows to show the cursor (instead of a giant arrow) would be totally ace.
