As the title explains, if anyone has played Aveyond 2 then they would know. for the rest of you, its a side view CBS that uses the character sets instead of battlers. also the battlebacks are actually tile sets.

Easy... Use Minkoff's animated battlers and use pictures of maps as backgrounds.
Done...
