"5-Year Anniversary Contest" deadline has been pushed back!

The deadline for the Official 5-Year Anniversary Contest has been pushed back from December 5th and is now December 31st. That's a whopping 26 extra days to work on your contest projects!

Many contestants have decided to drop out of the contest because of not being able to finish their projects in time. This is why the deadline was extended. So if you're a contestant and have stopped working on your game, then we hope that the new deadline will encourage you to start working again!

With nearly a whole extra month to work on those games again, those games will be spectacular! We can't wait!

I kind of expected this would happen, but not to the magnitude of 26 days. Of course, it's a HUGE relief. I feared I wouldn't have much time to playtest and it would be full of bugs.

Neither mine, but I might have another entry... still on the Underground theme, but it's using a Big Brother-like front.

Meaning, DESU! is canceled, and will be replaced by another game hinted as: "Big Brother has an underground laboratory for house mate cloning!"

Niiice! I have just returned from holiday, where I got VERY little done on Dungeon Dwellers, to read this post. This will give me time to go back and focus on enhancing the graphics of the game before I wrap it up and call it finished.

Wow, and I've dropped out, a whole extra 4 weeks (Well, almost) is a pretty big pushback for a deadline, maybe I'll have time to finish my game afterall, although I'm thinking of remaking it in Game Maker, although it'd mean having to learn how to use it properly...
