3D modeled cartoonish weapons

I have developed a liking of cartoonish 3D some time ago, and I can make anything as long as it is not alive...
Now my previous work was deleted, but I found these still alive ! I dunno how that happened but I uploaded them !

The good thing about these is that I can draw them from any angel in less than 3 second, and I don't have to worry about anything ! it will be the exactly same thing. I can make movies from them too..

I'd really appreciate some constructive criticism !

P.S : I know I suck at coloring :'(

Edit : Alright I made a new one ! and I chamfered it... although I think it would have been better edged... but what do I know ^^"

Wow, they look good. Do try to put them in IMG tags though, so we don't have to click the links.

What program/s do you use to make these? They're quite nice, but it's probably better you stick to swords, considering swords have straight edges and you don't know how to chamfer yet.

Well actually I made them in IMG tags... I dunno whats wrong with it..
And I used 3Dmax for that ^^
And about chamfering, I suppose you assumed that I can't chamfer from that plane ? I can, but I thought it would make it more cartoonish if I leave it edged ! I can smooth it, and the lines would disappear...
I'll try to add more weapons later !

Oh, sorry, I just assumed that since I hadn't seen any of this art from you before, that you were a beginner. Again another example of why you shouldn't rely on first impressions...

This remember me so much of Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicles)...one of the most eye-candy graphic I've ever seen :D

I already made guns ! but if you mean real guns then it will take me some effort ... I cant make guns... maybe one or two, but a whole collection ? I don't think so ^^"

Guys if anyone wants such graphics in your game, you'll have to have someone available to make 'em ALL for you, not someone like me. I just posted mine here to see what you guys would think for it... no one seems to not like them thanks !

P.S : Sam, I didn't post any .swf files before, what do you mean ?

you should maybe make a tutorial or something on how to make these kinds of graphics so others can make them for their game or for others

Well, maybe it was too late at night for me... but I remember there being flash files...

If it helps, they were actually rotating and you could see the shading and shadows move with the object.

They may have have been .gif files, but I swear they were flash...

DDX, nice work. I know making 3d models is no piece of cake. which method do you use? polygon, nurbs?? anyway, the thing is im workin on a game. its gonna have characters as 3d rendered images and im no good at backgrounds or weapons. but i need backgrounds mostly. would you like to work on it?
