Messing around with lighting

Wow, that actually looks really good! I love the texturing on it! The lighting is pretty good also. :D What are you using for this?

I always find these amazing. I'm not sure how much effort they actually take any more so I will take the newbie's stance and say "wow, nice work, that must have taken forever, the lighting effects are so real!" ^^

Lol yeah, I love when people do 3D interiors of living rooms and stuff, especially with the lighting, although I think your settee's (sofa/couch... WHATEVER!!!), seem too... squared around the edges, as if it's made out of blocks o.O

Apart from that, everything else looks great!

This was mostly a lighting test. Messing around with raidosity and global illumination. Theres only one light in this scene and thats a sun object. Before it would have taken me like 4 or 5 to get the same effect... GI makes light bounce around the room and reflecting off of everything else. Did a bit of film grain in photoshop post processing. And those sofas are my super lazyboy model...they are just squares lol

that couch looks super comfy, if not for the pointy corners lol

but as for the lighting... the interior looks great, but the amount of light pouring in from outside doesn't match the dismal looking day outside. and the skylights on the right side doesn't seem to have been taken into consideration
