2 questions. please

i used to play 2k/3 and loved it. i started playing xp after a few years and im a little lost.

1. i want to make a chest that i can take something and have the chest event image change to be open and to not get the item every time i click it.

2. is there any way i could play this w/o paying for it?

1. On the first page of the chest, after getting the item out of it, change Self-Switch A ON. Create a new page with the open chest graphic that requires Self-Switch A ON and that should work, even if you leave the area and come back!

2. I'm pretty sure any way is illegal :\

And if you didn't know how (though I think you did) - to animate the chest (or anything, really)  set move route: this event, and....well, however you want to move it. :D  (for chests and doors, it's: Turn Left, Wait 3 [or however many] frames, Turn Right, Wait, Turn Up)
