♫ Songs of Vengeance ♫

I couldn't think of a better tacky name. :)

These are some songs I "made" (i.e. editted the hell out of).

Please don't use these, they are made by me for my game only. I do have some other songs around you can use, but these ones here are specifically for my game. Hope ye understands. I'm just posting them for C&C, which is what this board is for.

Tides of Vengeance (Edit of Theme03)
This was created by accident, I deleted a chunk of the melody and some of the tracks in it by mistake. It seemed to work well though, especially for a sort of... well, this is the music that plays during the credits (hence the name, it's a tacky sea scene following a boat with credits rolling past).

Crystal Forest (Edit of Boss04)
So called because it's for... the Crystal Forest =) This is just a straight track swap, of one of the "slow" tracks, with some others taken out.

Winterborn (Edit of Slow05... I think)
Again, another track named after the region. It's supposed to sound like Crystal Forest, makes the player feel they're in the same place but slightly different. Again, wintery feel like Crystal Forest has.

I like them, but there is a certain quirk, to them that's just impossible to get around. Crystal Forest and Winterborn are skipping ... BADLY. I'm not sure if that's my computer but It won't go away, so I'm assuming it's your songs.

Besides that, I see nothing wrong with them!

Good stuff Wyatt, I liked Tides of Vengeance, it instantly brought back old FF games to mind.  The way you used the midi horn sounds just screamed Final Fantasy to me.  Very nice!  Not sure how I feel about the introduction to it though - as with most midi sounds, I think listening to just one sound at any one time with the exception of the harp can be a bit piercing on the ears.
