So last night, I was wanting pretty badly to do a cover of a song by the band Riverside, and so I started on the song "Conceiving You". I finished sequencing it this morning, took a break, and then finished recording it this evening. I think that makes it the fastest I've ever finished recording anything, ever. Anyway, tell me what you think of it. I'm not normally much of a singer, so tell me what there is I can do to improve.
Anyway, here:
Conceiving You Cover
The song, just in case you somehow missed the thread title and the references to it being a cover, is not mine. It is by the progressive rock band Riverside, from Poland. I tried to add a little of my own flair though, so the solo isn't 100% the same, though it keeps to the general outline of solo in the original song.
EDIT: Everything but the guitars and vocals is Reason sounds, and the Piano is from the Reason Pianos refill. The drums were actually done pretty strangely, in that I used a drum Dr. Rex patch like a sequencer with a few extra cymbal and tom samples from other sources.
